Following Bruce Almighty, we saw how Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) was being tormented by his rival Bruce Nolan. Time passed and now Evan has made up with Bruce and has become a US Congressman in Washington D.C. God (Morgan Freeman) has chosen Evan to build an Arc that would save him and his family, much like Noah. As time passes by, Evan realizes that his calling to serve people is stronger that he had imagined. In fact, it’s more than just serving his country, but saving humanity from total annihilation.
