A modern tale of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Mr. Brooks is about a man with an evil alter ego. On one side, Earl Brooks (played by Kevin Costner) is a successful businessman, a loving family man and a good hearted citizen. And on the other side, Marshall (played by William Hurt) is a serial killer with an insatiable thirst for murder. Earl has hidden his murderous rampages a secret by controlling Marshall. But during a last brutal murder, Marshall leaves a witness. Now Earl’s perfect life comes crashing down as an opportunistic eyewitness tries to blackmail him. Add to that, Tracy Atwood (played by Demi Moore), the cunning detective, is after him. Will Mr. Brooks find a way to outwit his adversaries and find a way to keep his double life a secret from his family?
